Watermael-Boitsfort deserves a mayor that is totally devoted to the preservation and improvement of the living environment without any accumulation with other political mandates or jobs. I am making this commitment.
Now more than ever, we must take care of eachother and address the ecological emergency, so that we can maitain decent living conditions in our planet, anywhere we may be.
We live in a municipality human-sized, and we must prepare ourselves to the changes that have to come. To act, we must trust eachother. To this to be possible, our institutions must be open and transparent.
We must protect the Sonian woods, improve our sidewalks and green up our municipality with trees wherever possible.
A hell’s plan Delchambre ventilates!
We must manage our municipality while keep on taking care of our environment, of the homeless and undermined people, and of the youth. We must support the solidarity built during the lockdown and the hospitality towards refugees.
Welcoming, promoting, sharing.
Let’s think global and act local! Together for a participative and solidary ecology.
Let’s put young people in our institutions: for a municipality up to date open to everyone.
Watermael-Boitsfort by and for all its citizens. A comfortable and green space to grow up, live and work in, with safer and cleaner streets. I want to fully commit myself for it.
Nice and natural things, everywhere, for everyone.
Let’s prioratise listening, dialogue and solidarity, welcoming ouf diversities as an asset, and concretely act to protect biodiversity and climate.
Resident of Watermael-Boitsfort since birth, I want to get involved for the preservation of nature and of our safe haven that is Watermael-Boitsfort, and therefore for more citizen engagement.
Let’s think about the planet that we’ll leave to our grandchildren. Let’s raise awareness of the damage made by overconsumption and flights… Let’s prioratise the alternative means of transportation and local systems.
From Europe to the municipality; from big utopies to action in the field!
Engaging in the local politics seems to me an appropriate and essential step of social transformation towards a world that is supportive and respectful of the environment.
Adaptation to the climate change cannot happen without taking into consideration the social aspect of the issue, especially at the local level.
Let’s make together an example of just transition, inclusive urbanis, cultural offer and hospitality out of our municipality.
Ecology should be unseparable from the human factor and political actions. The active and multimodal mobility is part of it, and it is crucia for the preservation of our village.
Let’s promote a community life, highlighting the numerous occasions to meet eachother across neighbourhoods and generations. Let’s protect our life style supporting the different initiatives willing to improve our green spaces.
Life is short. We need to help people to live better, to live together, and to manage our planet, and this starts from our municipality.
Let’s be an example of just transition through a reasonable consumption of energy, promotion of local consumption and a long-term mindset for mobility!
Our municipality must be a welcoming space for every person who inhabits it – independently of their origins, of their name, of their physical appearance or of the people they love.
Let’s seize the opportunity offered to us by the political engagement to express and to defend our ideas. Let’s make out of sharing, listening and attention the roots of this process.
Life is short. We must work for a better and fairer society in a healthy world. Everybody has the right has the right to the same amount of oxygen and joy.
I want to make sure that everybody (young, elders, people from any social and ethnical backgrounds… and even our non-human friends) has the right to not only survive, but also to have access to respect and dignity, to health and beauty.
The municipality can become a space of experimentation and social innovation, so that the just transition can become a way of creating social integration and of reducing inequality. This is the conviction that drives me.
my term as local councillor for Social Welfare (CPAS) has totally convinced me that political ecology must continue to act for climate justice without leaving anybody behind.
Let’s maintain our little village in the big city so that everybody can feel well and safe in our loely municipality, independently of their gender, age, or origin.
